ABOUT PHIL KILBURN

Supporting the growth of Greater Manchester’s Financial & Professional Services sector by building strong, long-term partnerships between business, public bodies, and the wider ecosystem. In my role at the Growth Company’s Business Growth Hub, I lead sector development activity for Finance & Professional Services by looking to connect ambitious firms with the right programmes, people, and opportunities to help them grow. I also work with GMCA, local authorities, trade bodies, universities and other stakeholders to align support and spot what’s missing, so we can create real impact together. My background spans L&D, business change, stakeholder engagement and facilitation with the common thread being making practical, purposeful connections that unlock potential.Alongside, but completely independent of, my role at the Growth Company, I continue to collaborate with trusted partners through my own company, Caswell Training, to design and deliver short-form training workshops that support SMEs with real-world tools for people development, team alignment and business improvement. These occasional collaborations allow me to occasionally stay hands-on with L&D / facilitation and keep developing innovative approaches to learning that help leaders and teams work better together.Currently working on - and 7 for a great HR Consultancy in Stockport specialising in SMEs
