ABOUT PHILIPP LEBEDIES

I design production and logistics systems that are conceptually robust and technically sound, and ready for implementation. I’m passionate about designing efficient material flows and production processes that seamlessly integrate technology, people and operations. During my industrial engineering studies, I focused on intralogistics and production logistics: In my bachelor’s thesis, I developed a concept for implementing a driverless transport system (AGV) for material supply at an automotive supplier’s assembly line. In my master’s thesis, I planned and simulated a tugger train system for material supply in an industrial manufacturing environment. These experiences laid the groundwork for my current approach, which is data-driven, systematic and solution-oriented. As an Analyst in logistics and production system design, I work on end-to-end factory planning and material flow optimization projects across industries – from concept development to detailed engineering. My project experience includes: Designing new production layouts (e.g, transition from line to workshop production) Supporting tender management for warehouse automation projects in the FMCG sector Evaluating logistics service provider proposals regarding technical and economic performanceI operate at the interface between technology, operations, and strategy, helping clients design future-ready, efficient, and sustainable intralogistics and production systems. & I aim to deepen my expertise in concept and detailed planning, expand my impact in automation and digital logistics, and move towards project management in the coming years. My goal is to create production and logistics systems that combine innovation, performance, and practicality. Outside of my consulting work, I am the Training Coordinator at the Association of Industrial Engineers (VWI).I deliver project management training courses through which students can earn the GPM Basic certification. I also lead the team behind the VWI podcast \'Technologie & Management\', which brings together students, engineers and industry experts for inspiring discussions.🤝’ ’.
