Reporting to the department supervisor, the technician 2 is responsible for preparing rental equipment and returning it to inventory at the designated location.Daily tasks and responsibilities include:· Preparing orders of average complexity, scanning them and placing them into appropriate transport cases· Customizing equipment if required by the customer, based on the purchase order· Modifying equipment parameters· Programming equipment according to standards and customer requirements· Preparing racks and interconnect systems· Supplying all accessories required for equipment operation (e.g. wiring, adapters, PSU, IEC, brackets, remote control, etc.).· Carrying out verification tests to ensure proper operation of equipment· Cleaning, maintaining and inspecting equipment· Upgrading items (e.g. painting, cleaning, etc.)· In collaboration with Shop Technician 3, preparing large-scale orders· Following company and/or industry quality and preparation standards.
