My expertise in governance : On-going mandates as independent NED within a start-up, a fast-growing industrial company dedicated to the luxury sector backed by an investment fund, and as a member of the strategic and finance committee of a family owned mid-cap. Within a Board of Directors, a Strategic Committee, or an Advisory Board, I have the capacity to contribute to the strategic thinking, addressing issues such as business model evolution, international development, business risks and ESG transition, drawing on my extensive experience and background in developmental operations and projects having supported the growth or the transformation of groups as outlined below. Strong involvement in forums and organizations of relevance for governance issues and working to promote innovative thinking and action in this area (IFA, APIA, Collège du Dirigeant, Chapter Zero France, Convention des Entreprises pour le Climat). My past experience: Proven track record (30 years of which 20 as CFO of family-owned large companies) strategically transforming finance, reshaping support functions (including legal, IT, internal audit, risks, M&A, purchasing), contributing to the business model transformation and completing /integrating acquisitions. Business Partner to the CEO and to the operations in working out the strategic vision and the relating operating plans, and in measuring the global performance. Experience of both turnaround or fast growth challenges, complex and international backgrounds, and multicultural teams, demonstrating clear leadership and interpersonal skills. My expertise areas: Experience of critical transformation processes (merger, change of business model, data management and governance, supply chain reshaping, integrated planning of sales and operations), Lead of transversal projects aimed at competing or integrating acquisitions and divestitures, improving productivity (ERP, shared services, digitization of processes, cash-pooling, fast close), enhancing cash awareness and restoring long term financial soundness. Risk Management (mapping and best practices, internal control and audit, coordination of action plans within the executive committee)) Strategic finance to support business development and enhance value- debt-financing (bilateral or syndicated loans, US or Euro private placements), deconsolidation of assets, stock-exchange listing- capital raising solutions fitting with start-up companies (venture capital, vendor financing, crowdfunding, non-recourse loans).
