ABOUT PHILIPPE COLLET

Philippe Collet is Full Professor of Computer Science at the Université Nice Sophia Antipolis, France, since September 2013. From September 2017, he is teaching at Polytech Nice Sophia. From December 2017, he is Deputy Director in charge of Corporate Relations at Polytech. He is a member of the SPARKS research group in the I3S laboratory (UMR 7271 CNRS & Université Nice Antipolis). He received his PhD in 1997 and his HDR (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches) in 2011 from the same University. His research activities deal with software engineering, software product-line engineering, and model-driven engineering, He is also the co-author of more than 80 publications in international conferences and journals. His teaching subjects comprise different aspects of software engineering, from basics of OO, testing, to components, micro-services architectures, DevOps, as well as software development and the introduction of agile principles to newcomers.
