ABOUT PHILIPPE VIGNAL
With more than 20 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, I had the chance to contribute to the development of wind power in France, then to broaden my field of action by taking the lead of the French representation of the multi-energy group EnBW and its Renewable Energy subsidiary Valeco. I look at a systemic vision of the energy transition.My convictions are clear: renewable energies are a safe, competitive and rapid solution to the emergencies of energy sovereignty and the fight against climate change. The electrification of uses must be promoted by the public authorities to ensure decarbonization and significantly improve the trade balance and independence from fossil fuels. Optimizing the energy system requires the integration of flexibilities: storage, electric vehicles, aggregators, VPPs, smart software, adapted tariffs… Innovation and collaboration are the drivers of a more resilient, efficient and just energy system. The players in the sector need a clear and stable strategic framework and regulations to invest and succeed in the energy transition
