Evaluate complex contracts to determine the appropriate treatment in accordance with U.S. GAAP and revenue implications under ASC 606 • Ensure compliance with company policies and accurately set up contractual terms in the accounting system, including Deltek Maconomy, SharePoint, and Power BI • Conduct month-end and quarter-end close activities and post-close financial reporting • Act as a subject matter expert on revenue implications of contract terms and conditions • Validate compliance with revenue policy to ensure accurate percentage-of-completion recognition under ASC 606 • Partner with professional services sales leadership and the legal department to optimize contract terms for timely revenue recognition • Perform monthly reviews of re-estimated budgets for compliance with contract terms • Coordinate with billing teams, practice engagement team members, corporate legal group, and operations groups to resolve issues identified in the project life cycle maintenance and closure reviews • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in the revenue accounting process
