ABOUT PHILIPPE MADGIN

Philippe Madgin practiced law with Federal Government for 22 years before joining the Canadian Transportation Agency as its Chief Compliance Officer. Philippe\'s previous areas of expertise included criminal law, administrative law, police powers and regulatory compliance and enforcement. He has trained thousands of enforcement officers and police on various legal aspects of law enforcement and is a guest instructor at the Canadian Police College. Philippe is also the instigator of the Federal Regulatory Law Enforcement Symposium held annually from 2013 to 2018 and has been the co-chair of the CFR\'s Compliance and Enforcement Community of Practice for the past 10 years.Philippe Madgin a pratiqué le droit au Gouvernement fédéral pendant 22 ans avant de se joindre à l\'Office des transports du Canada en tant que directeur général des déterminations et de la conformité. Ses champs d\'expertise ont notamment inclu le droit criminel et administratif, les pouvoirs policier et l\'application des lois dans un contexte réglementaire. Philippe a participé à la formation juridique de plus de milles agents de l\'autorité et policiers. Il est également un instructeur invité au Collège canadien de police et est l\'instigateur du Colloque fédéral sur l\'application de la loi.(2013 à 2018) et il co-préside également la Communauté de pratique sur la conformité et l\'application de la loi de la CRF depuis 10 ans.
