   Created a battery storage enclosure using fiberglass and resin to protect all components inside the solar car.Used carbon fiber, fiberglass, and resin to create the car’s top body, resulting in a structure that is both lightweight and stiff.Sanded the female mold aero-body, applied body filler where needed, and applied gelcoat to produce a smooth inner surface.Spot-welded battery cells to form series and parallel circuits, ensuring durable and reliable connections.Designed enclosures for the battery management system and contactors to protect against electrical hazards, fire, mechanical damage, and environmental exposure.Designed an exhaust duct structure with a fan enclosure and duct fittings for two Noctua NF-A14 PWM fans to remove heat from the battery storage.Soldered thermistors to monitor and prevent overheating and voltage taps to prevent cells from going over-voltage or under-voltage while enabling accurate charge readings through the battery management system.Designed and manufactured a plywood battery impound box to contain fire, mitigate thermal runaway, and prevent electrolyte leakage from the battery storage.
