In my role as Sixth Form Pastoral Officer, I’m proud to support the emotional, mental, and academic wellbeing of young people at a pivotal stage in their lives. I work at the heart of College VI, offering 1:1 pastoral support, leading wellbeing workshops, and building strong, supportive relationships with students and their families.I play an active role in shaping a culture where students feel safe, seen, and empowered—whether they\'re navigating academic pressure, personal challenges, or preparing for life after sixth form. I’m the go-to for everything from check-in chats to safeguarding concerns, and I take great care in ensuring no student feels like they’re going through things alone.A key part of my role also includes working with the TEKNIKA Football Academy, where I design and deliver tailored wellbeing and mental resilience sessions for academy players, helping them develop both on and off the pitch.Key Highlights:Delivering targeted workshops on mental health, stress management, and emotional literacyBuilding strong communication links with parents and carers to support whole-student careOrganising events including charity fundraisers, university talks, careers fairs, and staff socialsActing as a trusted point of contact for students, staff, and external partnersCollaborating with internal teams and external agencies to provide holistic, wraparound supportI bring empathy, calm, and clarity to everything I do—and I’m passionate about helping young people feel confident in who they are and capable of everything they can become.
