Working in the Portfolio ESG & Global Projects team at PIMCO Prime Real Estate, my colleagues and I are dedicated to help our clients to drive profitable growth and competitive advantage through sustainability.The build environment is a key contributor to carbon emissions and has a crucial role to play. As a global real estate investment firm we can have a big impact on the decarbonization of our portfolios to drive positive change. Our purpose is to shape the transition of our assets to meet the Paris-aligned pathway and enhance the health & wellbeing and, as a team, we are a powerful force in driving the sustainability of our portfolios.To achieve this, technology solutions can help to deliver improved outcomes for clients, employees and shareholders. My research at the department of real estate economics at TU Kaiserslautern deals with the potentials of artificial intelligence based on digital building documentation to automate due diligence processes.
