AI and technological change are by far the biggest opportunities and threats for the German workforce.During my time at McKinsey, I\'ve seen first hand the potential of technological change for German companies - that being said,\"FactorX-change\" will only happen if employees have the skills to exploit the full potential of the latest technology. This is where upskilling comes into play. At the same time, Germany is in its 3rd year of recession, the least digitally transformed economy in Europe and facing structural and strategic skills gaps in AI and Data in the coming years. Thus, to engender change at scale, governments, local authorities, employers, employees and workers councils need to work together to unleash the Upskilling Revolution.And.I am proud to be tackling this challenge with Multiverse in Germany.
