I lead digital adoption & transformation work that helps global teams understand their challenges & explore where AI enabled tools can genuinely support better ways of working. My focus is on building confidence, clarity & capability so people know how, when & why to use AI with the right safeguards in place. My approach is human centred & grounded in the real pressures of day to day operations.I support teams across business operations & technical functions to assess their needs, explore options & decide whether Co‑pilot or other AI powered tools are the right fit. A core part of my role is helping people recognise that AI is not a silver bullet. Human oversight remains essential, & people stay responsible for the outputs they create. I translate complex ideas into clear, practical guidance that reduces uncertainty & helps teams build sustainable confidence through structured, repeatable prompting approaches that keep human judgement central.I also guide early AI driven content automation work, including metadata tagging, content management improvements & workflow prototypes that reduce manual effort. Alongside this, I raise awareness of legal, contractual & security considerations, ensuring teams understand client restrictions, responsible use principles & the implications of emerging regulation such as the EU AI Act. My work is supported by certification as an AI Strategy & Implementation Leader & a structured approach to digital adoption focused on clarity, capability & responsible use.Key achievements• Strengthened teams’ confidence & judgement by helping them decide when AI is useful & when it isn’t• Built capability in structured prompting, improving the quality, consistency & oversight of AI supported work• Developing Microsoft Co-pilot Agents to maximise the adoption of AI tools, improving multi-step workflows & enforce consistency• Increased responsible AI readiness by setting practical guidance on legal, contractual & security considerations

ABOUT PHIL CLARK

I’m a digital transformation leader who works at the intersection of people, process and technology. My approach is human centred and grounded in the reality of how work gets done. I help organisations adopt new tools, build capability and move forward with clarity, confidence and purpose. My work spans modern and legacy systems, digital adoption, AI enabled tools and large scale transformation. I spend time understanding how people work, the pressures they face and the systems they rely on. That insight helps me shape solutions that fix real problems rather than create new ones. I focus on clear communication, simple structures and practical steps that help people feel supported, informed and able to deliver their best work.In my current role at dentsu, I lead transformation initiatives that help global teams adopt AI enabled tools and new ways of working. I translate complex ideas into clear, accessible guidance and help colleagues use AI in a confident, responsible and sustainable way. My work includes capability building, prompting frameworks, content automation and raising awareness of legal and contractual considerations such as the EU AI Act. This builds on my certification as an AI Strategy and Implementation Leader and reflects my belief that emerging technologies only succeed when people understand how to use them safely and effectively. Before dentsu, I led transformation and capability building across manufacturing, charity, retail and global operations. At Sparex, I shifted the IT function from reactive support to proactive, structured delivery and strengthened capability through people first leadership. At Mencap, I led the first phase of a national digital inclusion programme, helping more than eighty partners build digital confidence during COVID. At Kimberly Clark, I held global responsibility for manufacturing digital transformation across more than seventy sites and created a career development framework that aligned strengths to organisational needs.Across every role, my focus is consistent. Help people understand the direction. Build confidence in the tools and processes that support their work. Translate complexity into clarity. And create environments where people feel able to adopt new ways of working with confidence and purpose.
