My company: I have created the “PHDC-Consultant” company (SARL) specialized in Lean management implementation, Program management, Purchasing and Quality. “PHDC-Consultant” main expertise is the process implementation to fulfil the customer expectation while improving the company P&L. We make the change happen through participative processes which develop commitment, motivation and empowerment at all levels of the extended enterprise, from customer to suppliers and through transition management services My experience: My personal career could be separated roughly in 2 different areas. In the first area I worked 25 years with 2 international companies, Johnson Controls and Electrolux where I hold 10 leadership positions in 5 industrial functions; In the second area I have been working as a consultant with PA Consulting Group and about 5 years as internal consultant in 2 French companies Trefilunion and Thomson Brandt; My strength is that all along my career, I have successfully introduced several innovative tools and processes and by doing that I have been part of the leadership teams in charge of the change acceleration. Indeed, I started with VA /VE in 1980, then TQM in 1985 followed by the TPS tools as Kanban, Kaizen, SMED, then I learned the lean manufacturing philosophy in 1990 then 6 sigma’s in 1996 to finish with lean engineering and value stream mapping in 2004. All along my career as Platform director, Program Management, Operations and Quality Director, I implemented these tools in a structured way. Thanks to this and the experience of “PHDC-Consultant” team we are now using all these tools in a simple and powerful methodology involving people to reach the best efficient process flow able to satisfy the customer with the right quality, the right speed and at the lower cost.
