I\'m interested in the data->information->knowledge->wisdom spectrum and how data and technology can enable decision making. Most of my background is in metrics and data analysis and I enjoy the intersection of strategy and analytics.

   The Standard

   I\'m sort of an all-purpose data nerd. I split most of my time between DW/BI topics and various other development needs to support the analytics and reporting for the sales department. I also manage the data modeling and data flow behind our sales incentive compensation processes. Some days I appear more of a liaison or consultant and spend my time drawing pictures on white boards and feeding requirements to other technical resources; other days I would appear to be a heads-down developer. I am also responsible for fielding a wide variety of ad hoc requests that can run the gamut from impact analysis on a large enterprise software project to visualizing statistical concepts in a slide deck.I basically try to just do whatever is needed and learn as much as I can in the process.
