Drawing on over 30 years’ experience in the power and rail industries – including 18 years at National Grid – I offer practical strategies and insights to solve challenging asset management and network problems. Career highlights: I’ve managed £300M+ annual capital programmes and £200M OPEX budgets, achieving PAS55 (ISO certification and delivering a 25% efficiency improvement over a five-year regulatory period. I also helped lead a £5.8 billion energy network sale, and developed innovative grid connection policies at National Grid that reduced generator wait times, working closely with Ofgem to implement these regulatory initiatives. These experiences honed my ability to balance technical and commercial priorities to deliver results for stakeholders.
