About Philip Bane
Innovating, using technology and data to improve our communities - that is Philip\'s expertise and focus. With a specialization on digital transformation, Philip works with public and private entities to identify needs that can be addressed by integrating data and applications creatively to solve real-world problems. Most importantly, Philip is an original thinker who knows how to architect knowledge systems. He is Army Ranger qualified from his service in the Army. Studies and teachers yoga with both 200hr and 300 hr Vinyassa Yoga Teacher certificates. He has also studied to be a Zen Buddhist chaplain reducing suffering and providing presence to others in need. These programs significantly advanced his view on the importance of systems thinking and beneficial action in terms of working with organizations and communities. The Council\'s work with cities in the areas of climate change (resiliency,) well-being and compassion were the direct result of his chaplaincy study.
