Provide department-level leadership for mission integration, governance support, and institutional stewardship across complex Catholic organizations, with responsibilities extending into system-level decision-making during periods of transition and strategic change. • Advise senior executives, boards, and sponsors on consequential matters involving governance structures, sponsorship responsibilities, financial stewardship, and long-term institutional viability. • Work directly with the Provincial Minister, Provincial Treasurer, and Provincial Council of the Province of Our Lady of Guadalupe on sponsorship, governance, and stewardship matters affecting multiple ministries and significant institutional assets. • Accountable for the sale and transition of major pieces of patrimony, ensuring divestitures are executed with financial discipline, mission fidelity, and long-term institutional credibility. • Lead and support complex divestitures and asset transitions by integrating mission, financial, legal, and operational considerations across diverse stakeholders. • Provide judgment and continuity at moments of organizational inflection, enabling leadership bodies to move from uncertainty toward clarity, alignment, and execution. • Lead cross-functional initiatives bridging mission, strategy, finance, legal, and operations in environments marked by ambiguity, competing priorities, and material risk. • Scope expanded over time to include direct accountability for major patrimony divestitures, system-level governance and sponsorship matters, and advisory responsibilities to provincial leadership. • Establish scalable approaches to mission integration and sponsorship that strengthen confidence among sponsors, councils, boards, and executive leadership. • Support institutional stability during transition by restoring alignment between mission, governance, and operational reality and promoting durable, forward-looking stewardship.

ABOUT PHILIP ANDERSON
I work at the intersection of mission, governance, finance, and organizational transition—most often at moments when institutions face inflection points that require both fidelity and hard decisions. My leadership experience spans enterprise-level Catholic health, media, and ministry organizations, where I am regularly asked to advise senior executives, boards, and sponsors on complex questions of stewardship, governance, and long-term viability. This work frequently involves navigating ambiguity, aligning diverse stakeholders, and translating mission commitments into operationally credible paths forward.I am best known for guiding institutions through periods of transition: strengthening governance and sponsorship structures, supporting board-level decision-making, addressing financial and property-related challenges, and helping leadership teams restore clarity, trust, and momentum. Across these efforts, I focus on building durable frameworks that hold under pressure—not just short-term fixes. My approach is grounded in Catholic social tradition and a conviction that mission integrity and institutional excellence are mutually reinforcing. I believe the most faithful leadership today is disciplined, transparent, and willing to make difficult decisions in service of long-term renewal.
