ABOUT PHILIP WOOLSEY

I have gained 25 years’ experience working in leading manufacturing organisations in sectors including packaging, food & drink, and consumer goods. I am an experienced and capable leader with the ability to understand markets and trends, set strategic direction, and inspire and engage people to achieve business goals. I have a strong track record of achieving excellent commercial and operational results through business strategy development, customer focus, product development and operational excellence. I am passionate about manufacturing and want to invest my time in helping UK and Ireland manufacturing organisations grow and create value through development of world class performance. I believe that growing and developing a diverse, inclusive performance culture creates the foundation for success, and combined with excellent systems and methods, great results are achieved. Over the years, I have consistently delivered dramatic safety improvements, lower costs of quality, innovative product development and introduction, higher productivity and OEE, leading to profit improvement.
