The Software Engineering Group has the corporate responsibility for creating and maintaining the Software Engineering Plans, Procedures and Processes used by the different engineering, instrumentation and control, safety analysis and code development groups at NuScale.Main Activities:Writing and maintaining the Software Configuration Management Plan and Procedure, the Software Change Control Plan and Procedure for NuScaleDeveloping the Software Configuration Management Repository as well as instantiating and maintaining the configurations for the development, test and production software codes and systems.Managing the configuration management of the IT infrastructure that is used by the different groups in NuScale to produce software engineering work products.Developing the software configuration training materials, and, in conjunction with the training manager, conducting training classes for the developers, QA engineers, Verification & Validation engineers and other who work on the hardware and software that is under configuration management.Working with the system engineers to maintain the software and hardware in the controlled environments to the current configurations, and for ensuring that all changes to the software and hardware are made according to change control procedures.Independent review of sub-contractor or vendor configuration management programs, and materials submitted for inclusion into the company configuration management system.
