I\'m an experienced engineering team leader (and engineer!) with a diverse background and skillset. My most recent passion has been leading teams of engineers and researchers to design and deploy digital twin technology for microgrids, autonomous robotic maritime systems, and manufacturing environments to provide a decision advantage to an operator or autonomy stack to improve objective outcomes. My technical areas of expertise include design and control of power converters, energy storage systems, and microgrid power systems utilizing modeling and simulation and rapid prototyping. My past professional experience includes running U.S. government-sponsored research programs and leading engineering teams to deliver products and services ranging from solar and wind inverter control software for utilities to mobile hybrid electric power systems and next-generation batteries for the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S Army.
