About Philip Stirling

My current role within Gestamp has enabled me to develop in a variety of ways. I am a well motivated individual with an ambition to succeed; I enjoy a challenge and work at an optimum level when under extreme pressure and have the ability to solve problems and communicate my concerns. Whilst I already work under minimal supervision, I can lead a team pragmatically when working towards meeting the company targets. I relish a challenge and am now thinking about my own career progression and am intent on achieving a role that will provide me with significantly more responsibility, by way of managing a small team and making the relevant decisions, as well as implementing the actions required. I have the ability to form strong and sound working relationships with both customer and supplier and am quick to identify customer requirements which I then translate into quality assured processes for the assembly areas. I have gained a sound knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures and statistical techniques from my current role as a quality engineer and am now looking to progress within a role that will provide increased job satisfaction.
