Provides IT management support to the Engineering Directorate on the MSFC Information Technology Services (MITS II) contract. Reports to the Engineering IT Manager and coordinates with the Organizational IT Managers, the Office of the Chief Information Officer and end users. Current emphasis is on solution architecture and data management, metrics, IT planning/prioritization, policy, strategy and governance, and IT process development. Generates system requirements for Engineering IT tools and evaluates/recommends candidate solutions. Develops and presents solution business cases and operational readiness reviews to MSFC IT governance bodies. Prepares MSFC’s Engineering IT budget for submission to the Agency. Provides oversight, governance/policy, and technical guidance to Engineering’s SharePoint user community.
