ISG manufactures and installs millwork, closet systems, shower doors, wall mirrors, bathroom accessories, and custom wall units Accountable directly to the owner for a wide variety of business operations spanning all areas of the enterprise—project management, engineering, manufacturing, installation, and business office functions (accounting and HR). With as many as 40 projects in the works simultaneously, manage the work of six project managers, production team, installers, and administrative staff. Communicate with customers to discuss lead times, expectations, and materials selection.Create project timelines. Build/review Excel spreadsheets to set and monitor projects for production and installation. Ensure customers are looped into project updates. Forecast receipt of materials, required production time, and installation dates.Champion efficiency at every juncture without sacrificing quality. Instituted SOPs and the use of checklists to advance projects and avoid costly delays. Across a very lean staff, serve as team leader to integrate and advance the efforts of engineers, production employees, and administrative support. Ramped up employee safety in the factory. Initiated an incident record to track injuries. Ensured the perpetual availability of ear and eyewear protection. Pursue additional vendors for price, quality, and quick-ship. Vet new suppliers and onboard them.Plan installations assigned to employees or subcontractors. Schedule subcontractors. Actively participate in daily 8 AM standups with management team. Assist project managers with design.
