My career in the hospitality industry has taken intriguing twists and turns leading me to this point in my career. When I look back over the last 25 years it has been so diverse and fun. My start was in fancy hotels in England where I trained in fine dining and culinary arts. I was fortunate enough to travel the world on the luxury ocean liner Queen Elizabeth the 2nd before starting my education at Northern Arizona University. Since finishing university, I have worked in the country club industry as well as hotels and casinos before joining the Arizona Broadway Theatre in Peoria Arizona. As a sales professional, I have an outstanding creative opportunity at Arizona Broadway Theatre (ABT). Everyday theatre-goers come to see up to 8 spectacular Broadway style productions we offer every year. The completion of the newly renovated Encore Room adds square feet of meeting and event space. Now we get to take regular events like seminars, receptions, lunches, dinners and infuse them with some Theatre fun. Just think, the ideas are endless! Before joining ABT I was fortunate enough to work with the exceptional team at Gila River Casinos in group sales and business development. With my position at ABT I get to use my business development know how to bring the business of meetings, events and programming to the Theatre. ABT is nestled in the heart of Peoria’s P83 district located just off the 101 and Bell road in the West Valley. This area has everything you could possibly think of in a destination including hotels, bars, restaurants, movies and of course the West side’s premier entertainment venue. If you haven’t been to the west side of the Valley of the sun lately it is rapidly growing and it has style! For entertainers, we are actively looking for new ideas to showcase in our Encore room. Event planners, ABT has a total of square feet of space available to host your event. Don’t hesitate to connect!
