As the Operations and Services Branch manager, I oversee all activities within the Branch. It\'s a challenging role that requires me to exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities to ensure that all team members perform their duties effectively and efficiently.One of my primary duties is representing the organizational unit and Agency with various functional area organizations. This ensures that we meet our goals and objectives. It\'s a responsibility that I take seriously, and I\'m always looking for ways to improve our performance.I spend most of my time on leadership, oversight, and technical expertise in the operation and administration of the IT Information Management Customer Service Support Section, IT Infrastructure Management Section, and Facilities Management Section. However, I also spend time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and interagency agreements.I believe in the power of coaching, mentoring, or leading others to ensure that our team is performing at the highest level. I can assess our teams\' effectiveness, efficiency, and progress by establishing and monitoring performance measures. This approach gives me confidence that we can achieve our goals and objectives and positively impact our field.It can be challenging, but I love my job. I\'m proud of our work in the Operations and Services Branch, and I\'m excited about what the future holds. With the right team, approach, and attitude, we can continue to make a real difference in our organization and beyond.
