The NIA Decommissioning and Waste Management Group plays a vital role in connecting members, sharing knowledge and promoting best practice across the sector. As Deputy Chair, I bring energy and commitment to supporting the Chair and NIA team in ensuring that each event is engaging, inclusive and relevant to the diverse challenges we face. I apply my experience in forging strategic partnerships to help the group to continue building connections between operators, suppliers, and innovators — ensuring that our collective efforts translate into real-world impact- Strengthening collaboration across all levels of our industry, from operators and supply chain partners through to new entrants and educational bodies- Identifying and showcasing innovation and lessons learned from across the UK’s decommissioning and waste management programmes- Encouraging participation from a wider range of voices, including early-career professionals- Ensuring the group continues to be a forum where members leave with new insights, fresh connections and tangible value.
