As a project manager, I have successfully managed three first-line managers and 22 nurses across various projects, including home care and partnerships with pharmaceutical companies and med tech companies across the UK and Europe. My main responsibility was to ensure that the projects remained within the budget and were completed within the given timeframe. I was able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and effectively delegate tasks to my team members. Senior Project Manager Schools Infection Survey (ONS) The project was launched by the ONS to see the impact and spread of COVID 19 in secondary schools and primary schools. My remit was to train the schools representatives and motivate them to persuade schools to sign up to the study. The challenge then was to develop the schools to sign up students to participate in the study. As the project manager, my responsibilities included managing a team of thirty individuals who were trained to interact remotely with schools. I was also responsible for developing the salesforce.com system in conjunction with IT specialists at the ONS to gather information for the students signed up for the survey. In addition to this, I was responsible for liaising with key stakeholders at the ONS and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine to ensure the study was successful. I developed a quality framework that allowed for safe testing of students and developed marketing materials to encourage student participation in the study. I also organized key stakeholder meetings between Public Health England and schools to ensure the study was conducted according to the highest standards. As a result of my efforts, the study hit participants across 150 schools.
