Things I do:1. Mapping and visualization of streets and other transportation related data using GIS, R, Adobe Illustrator and Indesign.2. Evaluating policy priorities and trade-offs for allocating space in the right-of-way to support multi-modal transportation and access.3. Technical research and spatial analysis to evaluate alternatives and provide data driven recommendations.Project Examples:Alta Transportation Equity Index | Led and built the company’s Equity Analysis tool and customizable index using R-Shiny and PlumbR APIs to compile socioeconomic, environmental, and health data; since utilized in projects across the US.Detroit MoGo Bikeshare Realignment | Multi-year analysis of bike share ridership trends and spatial relationships between hundreds of stations and key destinations, centers of employment, and the transit system, resulting in data-driven recommendations for 30 new station locations.Oregon DOT Safe Routes to School Program | Created Safe Routes to School Plans for rural and urban communities in Oregon, which include demographic analyses, mapping crash data, suggesting routes, and project identification, prioritization, cost estimationTigard Transportation System Plan | GIS lead for the active transportation sections of the TSP, and helped identify and develop future bikeway and pedestrian networks for the City of Tigard.
