ABOUT PHILIP LINE

During my years as an IT professional in the Mainframe environment I have worked for many Blue-Chip companies delivering the types of systems that have enabled them to be not only the leaders in their field of business but also leading edge technologists. Having worked on most of the key strategic IT systems; ranging from Requirements Planning, Order Processing, Accounts Reconciliation and Financial as well as Telecommunication packages to name but a few; has given me a wide and somewhat diverse experience of IT landscapes. I have not only benefited from the broad plethora of business arenas that I have worked in but I have also gained very valuable experience from working within environments and cultures outside of the United Kingdom. That experience, coupled with my knowledge of people and cultures, has allowed me to be ideally positioned to capitalize on opportunities as and when they have become available. I have easily transitioned from being a programmer into a project leader, from being a team member to a team manager. Those experiences have also helped me move to the role that I am doing today; namely in the technical support of legacy mainframe and changed data capture solutions for a leading Data Integration software company. My role is to provide the deep technical support for both Pre and Post Sales opportunities throughout the European community. Confidence in my own ability as well as solid business awareness has helped me be successful. In my current position I have personally contributed, via the technology lines that I support, to many of the companies million dollar plus deals.
