Identifying the electrical infrastructure (cables, transformers, reactive equipment, filter banks etc) required both onshore and offshore to connect large, offshore wind farms to power grids, and ensuring that resultant windfarm electrical designs are compliant with the grid code requirements of the host transmission company. I am currently working on new projects in the Asia Pacific area and in Northern Europe.
