A versatile and highly skilled IT Manager specialising in Citrix, Exchange and System Center tools with over 20 years of experience in the IT and Telecommunications industry, having recently implemented a multi-million pound secure MOD network and leading a team of 2nd/3rd line Managed services Engineers. Initially started off as an IT and Telecommunications Engineer implementing and maintaining Windows and Unix-based networks. Leading onto a Middle-Management role which involved delegating tasks to Junior Technicians, as well as liaising on a day to day basis with Senior Management. A professional, articulate manager with well-developed planning and organisational skills who is able to adapt very well to new developments and tasks whilst following the ITIL process.Intentions over the next 12 months is to broaden my knowledge further by gaining qualifications in Citrix and MCSE 2012. Over the next two years intend to complete studying a Degree in Computing.Other qualifications include an HNC in Telecommunications, BTEC National in IT Applications, CCNA, PRINCE2 and ITIL.
