I’m a Chartered Engineer and have specialised in all aspects of bridge engineering for over 20 years. I\'m a Principal Engineering Leader for Surface & Highway Structures at Transport for London.I\'m a member of a number of national working groups including Bridge Owners Forum, ADEPT, and LoBEG AMWG as well as the international PIARC Bridges Technical Committee (TC4.2). I was chairperson of the project steering group for CIRIA C800 Guidance on the Assessment of Masonry Arch Bridges and was on the project steering group for CIRIA C778 Management of Safety Critical Fixings.I was Chairperson of the Engineers Ireland GB Region for 2020/21 and 2021/22 and I\'m currently working on the senior committee.
