Currently, the Influenza and Animal-Human Interface Director in CDC Vietnam Over 22 years working in field of applied clinical research, epidemiology, and policy in a wide range of topics, but mostly working on vaccines and vaccine related issues, Current interests include- influenza and pandemic influenza planning - respiratory viruses and respiratory virus vaccines - epidemiology and statistical methods using large databases for vaccine safety and efficacy analyses - development of economic models to assess preventable disease burden and support vaccine uptake and utilization - global health engagement and use of metrics to assess effectiveness of these engagements - tropical medicine education and training
