Added functionality to Modular Electronic Attack Techniques Library (METL) Digital Radio Frequency Memory (DRFM) FPGA architecture to accept both real and complex radio frequency data • Modified the Direct Digital Synthesizer (DDS), bypassed the Hilbert Transform to apply a Doppler shift via complex multipliers to both real and imaginary parallel samples • Placed METL into a specific small floorplanned area of a Xilinx chip for rapid reconfiguration of functionality on Mercury Rappid platform • Verified design continued to meet timing albeit in a smaller space using advanced Xilinx techniques such as Physical Optimization Looping, prior build seed input references and Quality of Results Vivado suggestions • Confirmed new modifications did not alter previous functionality by running self-checking batch simulations and creating new test cases for further repeatability
