I’ve spent over 19 years immersed in the vibrant world of aviation, where I’ve had the privilege of leading teams and streamlining operations to create smooth travel experiences for passengers. Currently at GAS German Aviation Service GmbH as a Station Manager in Hamburg, I’m committed to fostering an environment where every team member feels empowered to contribute their best work. My journey has taught me that effective teamwork is not just about managing people; it’s about building relationships and nurturing talent.In my previous role at Airline Assistance Switzerland AG, I took on the challenge of opening new stations in Hamburg and Frankfurt. This experience honed my project management skills while also allowing me to set up teams from scratch—teaching new lead agents everything they needed to know from the ground up. I find immense satisfaction in guiding others through their professional development and ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed.Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to manage around 300 staff members, overseeing various departments such as passenger services and baggage handling. My approach has always been hands-on; whether it’s coordinating flight schedules or addressing customer concerns directly, I believe that being present on the ground is crucial for effective leadership. It allows me to identify areas for improvement quickly and implement solutions that truly make a difference.I’m passionate about creating efficient processes that lead to seamless operations—because let’s face it: happy passengers make for a thriving business!
