My passion is working with companies to develop and commercialize disruptive technologies that solve the world\'s biggest problems related to food production, plastic waste, air and water quality, and energy.I received my bachelor\'s degree in Chemical Engineering and Master\'s and PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University. During that time, I was also on the varsity football team and started 3 years as the team\'s longsnapper. I earned Big-Ten Distinguished Scholar honors in 2009 and was First Team Academic All-American in 2008.
