Duties and responsibilities with Sentar include supporting DHA Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) around the world, assisting with the utilization Sustainment of medical Devices for DHA (Defense Health Agency). I stated as an IV & V Assessor and moved to validating sites via Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) consisting of SecurityCenter, Nessus, and PVS, as an ACAS and HBSS SME. Currently I am supporting CyberLOG n the Sustainment Team. Duties revolve around managing and maintaining medical devices through the x and x phase of the RMF Process. The CyberLOG Medical Devices & Equipment (MDE) Cell is the core of CyberLOG, DHA Medical Logistics. CyberLOG is in the process of consolidating the medical device cyber groups from each of the three services (Army, Navy, and Air Force) into one operational medical device cyber operation. As the an ISSO and back up to the team lead for the CyberLOG System Level Continuous Monitoring (SLCM) I work closely with the cyber sections of each of the three medical services, other DHA departments, and MDE vendors/manufacturers. Advise site and system teams for MDE to ensure migration readiness for the D2D cyber transition. Other skills provide expertise and technical assistance to validate and remediate issues and vulnerabilities related to MTF and Program host risk posture as applies to associated operating systems, Databases, patching status, and overall cyber health via various automated security tools, by scanning, troubleshooting, optimizing, and administrating vulnerability management software, researching vulnerabilities and installing hot-fixes, utilizing vulnerability remediation software and techniques; Windows Server administration and Remote Desktop Software, creation and modification of Group Policy Objects to remediate. I’m always looking for way to better the team and grow and learn,ore whether in the technical realm or through mentoring and guiding others.
