ABOUT PHILINE E.

I am a young cross-media journalist and reporter who loves trying out new stuff. I grew up on the art museum \"Insel Hombroich\" in Neuss, I moved to Cologne in 2018. As a freelance journalist, I work as a reporter on different floors of WDR (ARD). Stations at public and private media in the areas of TV, radio, print and social media were already part of my career. Since the summer semester of 2022, I am also teaching students in online transformation media, journalism and project management at the Macromedia University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg and Cologne. During my studies I was and still am active as a host, PR manager and part of the executive at the university radio \"Kölncampus\", currently I work on TV and as a reporter and digital media producer at 1LIVE, the biggest youth radio of Germany. In November 2022, I was in the ARD foreign studio in New York and because of my love for NYC I returned in July 2023 to be part of a Newsroom Workshop at the Journalism School of New Yorks City University - focussing on journalism future and product / newsroom development. Before, I completed my Bachelor\'s degree in \"Intermedia\"(media psychology and media journalism) at the University of Cologne and currently finishing two Master\'s degrees in Düsseldorf and Cologne (\"professional story telling\" and \"media culture analysis\"). My bachelor\'s thesis topic was \"Psychological Effects of Clickbait in Online Journalism\". DM me if you want to work with me! Always open for new projects and perspectives.
