As Lead Product Designer for our internal engineering platform, I drive end-to-end design initiatives that empower mechanical engineers to create high-performance heat transfer coils. My scope spans user research, usability audits, concept development, high-fidelity design in Figma, and close collaboration with developers to deliver impactful solutions.Key contributions- Uncovered usability gaps through baseline research with internal and external users, surfacing critical pain points and opportunities- Led a heuristic evaluation and delivered targeted design improvements — including clearer form field organization, enhanced technical imagery, and more intuitive coil configuration workflows- Designed a bulk-editing feature for internal users and a new workflow supporting a high-demand coil type, expanding product capabilities- Collaborated with our brand team to curate and integrate technical visuals and descriptions, elevating clarity and consistency.Beyond product design, I’ve stepped into a strategic facilitation role to address systemic challenges across ERP rollout and factory workflows- Led cross-functional discovery sessions to surface operational inefficiencies and align teams on shared goals- Prototyped solutions using AI tools, including factory-floor information screens and Android tablet photo documentation apps- Modeled Agile practices alongside our digital product leader to support adoption and improve delivery velocity.These efforts have directly contributed to improved operational efficiency, increased user satisfaction, and measurable business outcomes — including reduced project timelines and higher coil order volume.
