SKILLS
ABOUT PHIL CUTFORTH
I am an accomplished mentor and senior technical leader in the Defence and Cyberspace/Information Security sectors; with exceptional experience and knowledge across the full spectrum of ICT/CIS (or C6ISR/EW/TA/CEMA) domains in Military, Defence and central government roles. This experience is supported by a prodigious academic and practical background in systems engineering and enterprise architecture disciplines; with particular strengths in cloud and Defence tactical-edge technologies, as well as cyber and information security. With a demonstrable portfolio of unique successes to my name, I value my ability to look 3-dimensionally through an organization; tactical to strategic (vertical) – across all business functions and capabilities (laterally) – exploiting any technology/services stack (depth). I previously established and led the New Zealand Government Chief Information Security Officer (GCISO) office, utilising the full extent of the NZ NCSC and international partners expertise to put NZ in the forefront of modern Cloud technology information security practices and toolsets.Currently, I am honoured to be contributing to L3Harris Groups evolution into a truly integrated prime Defence C6ISTAREW (and other acronyms) global company; and leaning forward on L3Harris mantra to be the leading \"Trusted Disruptor\" partner of choice. Without doubt, this is the most interesting (and uniquely challenging) role I\'ve had to date.
