ABOUT PHIL WICKSTEED
I have been Head of Tax at Arcadis UK since May 2016. Following Arcadis’ adoption of the Global Business Area strategy, we formed a truly Global Tax Department. Reporting directly to our Global Tax Director, I am a director in our global tax team. One of my key roles is helping Arcadis teams to deliver fully compliant international projects working with an array of stakeholders. I also oversee our tax affairs in Ireland, the Nordics and the Middle East, while my direct reports run our tax functions in the Americas, Asia and Australia Pacific regions.Prior to moving in house, I was a senior tax manager at EY. I have over 25 years\' experience of providing tax advice to UK and multinational groups across a wide range of sectors (including energy, construction, manufacturing and retail). I am a Chartered Tax Advisor and provide UK tax advice, core international tax support as well as delivering compliance and tax accounting assistance.I take a leading role in running account teams, the training and development of the wider team and new business development.Specialties: Project work, renewable energy, BEPS, IR35, tax reporting.
