I am a Member of the Board of Directors with Carolina Material Handling. I serve as the Co-Treasurer on the Board. Also at Carolina Material Handling I manage customer needs. I help customers who need ergonomic solutions with ergonomic lift equipment, conveyor systems, anti-fatigue matting and work space solutions like work benches. I also design, engineer, and manage installation of heavy-duty storage rack systems. We can do static pallet rack storage systems, drive in rack systems, push back pallet rack, pallet rack and wire decking, flow rack, carton flow rack, heavy-duty cantilever rack and other systems. We also increase floor space by using mezzanines and modular office systems. One of my favorite products to supply to customers are casters and wheels. I have studied and experienced for many years to effects and benefits of using properly specified casters and wheels for many different applications. I consider the application and suggest what series caster for capacity and if it needs to be zinc plated or stainless steel. I consider the application to suggest the type of wheel material and how well it rolls and durability. I also consider the type of bearing needed to improve the casters and if the casters need brakes or swivel locks. I work with gravity and powered conveyor systems. I also like to design customized delivery carts and delivery trucks for all types of industry such as beverage industry and stock picking applications.
