Elevara Medicines is an innovative Biotech addressing an the substantial unmet need in rheumatoud arthritis (RA).Remission is the aim of treatment in RA, however this remains an often elusive target for patients with current therapies. Elevara\'s lead asset targets ELV001 targets RA synovial fibroblasts, a cell type that proliferate in the joints of patients with RA. These cells promote inflammation and cause joint damage. Which explains why many patients fail to achieve disease remission with established immune targeted approaches. By specifically targeting these cells, Elevara Medicines aims to break the efficacy ceiling patients experience with existing immunosuppressive drugs.
