ABOUT PHIL ROSE

As a highly motivated Architectural Designer, I have a proven track record of delivering good quality buildings, through well presented design work including planning applications through to Building Regulations applications and full construction packages. Through my 25 years experience I have built up a wealth of technical knowledge and experience from a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from small residential projects, to large multi-million pound schemes, to commercial developments, Mixed use schemes, commercial fit outs, and specialists projects such as conservation work. My roles in these projects have included design development with clients, preparation of the planning application documents, preparing Building Regulations drawings to obtain Building Regulations / NHBC approval, preparing tender packages for contractors pricing, production of full construction packages, assisting the contractors with any site queries and site meetings, checking / approving manufacturers design items prior to construction and preparing conveyance plans / “As built” packages for the completed developments. My 25 years of experience is predominantly in the residential sector, but also have experience in commercial restaurant fit outs, commercial office / laboratory projects, and more specialist work in conservation such as the Spitbank fort project, Portsmouth. This experience includes working with a range of building structures such as concrete frame design, timber frame, through to load-bearing masonry with concrete or timber floors and existing buildings.
