ABOUT PHIL PACEY
Associate Civil / Structural Engineer with 15 years railway structures design experience both in the UK and abroad.Since joining AECOM (previously Scott Wilson, URS/Scott Wilson & URS) I have worked in various roles ranging from programme management to concept / outline design, detailed bridge / structural design, assessment, CAT checking and multi disciplinary ancillary civil / structural design.I am currently CRE for the ancillary civil / structural design for the Merseyrail Power Supply Upgrade scheme. I have also recently completed the CRE role for a number of schemes as part of the HS2 enabling works delivered through the S&C south alliance. Schemes included Camden Carriage Sidings upgrade / extension, Up sidings extension & Watford Platform 10 extension.I have experience in multi discipline project management on schemes <100k.I am also currently Team leader for the civil and structural design team in our York office. As part of this role I am involved in pricing / tendering works for future office workload, team resourcing, annual appraisals / staff development and office recruitment.
