Currently accountable for managing the physical risks to our people, premises and assets across more than 100 critical business sites in the UK. I lead a team that ensures the safety, security and business continuity of a multibillion pound business. I lead the security risk management process and identify and deliver appropriate controls in the corporate real estate space including the global headquarters in London and several other critical national infrastructure sites through a combination of my own team of security experts and outsourced security partners.I manage our outsourced security contractors to provide efficient and effective controls to identified risks and ensure a documented and layered conformance testing regime.Working alongside government and policing experts I led the development and global introduction of a contemporary incident management and escalation process to deliver timely security team intervention whilst ensuring those within the business who need to know are provided with accurate information and updates. This is particularly relevant when viewed against the ever changing global threat profile.I have led and delivered strategic projects to create consistency and efficiency in areas such as Electronic Access Controls (EACS), CCTV, manned guarding and the development of a Security Operations Centre.
