I have a passion for renewable energy and solving global problems. My career goal has focused on developing and advancing new technology that provides clean energy solutions, that is both market driven and commercially competitive globally. Technical background: Solar photovoltaics, thermal energy generation are my current focus, with the goal of developing next generation renewable energy technologies that change the energy landscape to create new renewable energy markets. I started my career in pulsed power plasmas, were I worked in research for controlled fusion. This evolved into analysis and mitigation of space radiation effects, helping to design and build the radiation hardened electronics and computers for satellites. I had the good fortune to participate on the teams that built, Cassini, New Horizons, the mars rovers and many of the earth observation satellites. I have focused on semiconductor physics for solar PV, laser processing of semiconductors, and thermal energy extraction. Specialties: renewable energy technology, space radiation effects and qualification for satellite systems.Start up business formation, operations, leadership, Intellectual property, contract and licensing and negotiations. Technical team and project management and operations for small, nimble, dynamic companies.
