About Phil Keith
Phil has more than 52 years of experience in public safety, business administration, project management, training curriculum development and leadership development for law enforcement. After working nearly 34 years in law enforcement, with more than 16 plus years as chief of police, he has demonstrated experience in all facets of law enforcement, fire safety and emergency management. For the last 35 years he has worked for a number of consulting firms, businesses and organizations in the U.S, as well as for international clients. In April 2018, he was appointed as the Director of the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Service. He is the sixth Director spanning over the 25 years of the COPS Office.
