In the new FY (2017/18), I have taken on additional responsibilities of Project Manager within the Vodafone Group. My overall responsibilities include- Engaging with Group Divisions and OpCos/Local Markets in Americas, Europe and Asia to identify any gaps within perimeter network & deep zone security- Performing requirements capture process; network zone/asset/community protection; budget capabilities- Running of Proof-of-concept and value assessments to understand benefits and potential- Performing network design/site survey assessments to scope inline/passive sensor placement and specifications- PM: Gate definition and forecasting, RAG status, project plans/reports, key stakeholder management- Liaising with end-clients and sales partners for quotes and sales order support- Integrating and collaborating with end-client’s various teams; establishing successful working and coherent relationships- Producing High-level designs and transitioning to Low-level designs- Deploying/configuring Firepower platforms and appliances; liaising with end-client network teams for cut-inline and blocking moves- Deploying/configuring Stealthwatch platforms, host group and maps definitions- Tuning and stabilising deployments; operational and detection policies- Handover to Security Engineering teams for follow-on maintenance and support- Successfully protecting Perimeter networks, PCI zones, DMZs, Customer DNS and Internal user/server environments
